Wasabi was founded in 2003, the first UK food retailer to sell individually wrapped sushi and with 46 stores across our UK Company and 4 in the USA, Wasabi has become a leading player in the food retail sector.

Following an extensive review into our fresh produce supply chain, we were pleased to partner with Fresh Direct at the end of 2020, implementing the first of a three phase transfer of products and services.

The project has been closely managed and to date has delivered efficiently against our three key purchasing strategy aims - volume growth, service efficiency and cost down.
