We will empower people to live healthier lives

  • Lifeworks – wrap around support with ‘LifeWorks’ initiative giving colleagues 24/7 professional counselling throughout the pandemic and beyond

  • Production of care packages for the vulnerable during Covid lockdown 1.0, over 250,000 boxes packed at Corby depot
  • 200 tonnes of produce donated to good causes during March-April 2020

We promise to reduce packaging over time

  • Removing 200kg of card and 1040 kg of plastic a year from a single customer apple SKU of packaging
  • Citrus netting, changed to home compostable led to the removal of 2m non recyclable nets per year

  • Larger pack sizes of our popular soft fruits removing 800,000 single use plastic punnets per year
  • Avocado trays removed from our twin packs resulting in annual savings of 308,000 trays per year

  • Utilising network delivery efficiencies to reduce stem mileage usage by 10 – 20 %
  • LED lighting fitted across our estate
